Family Support Group
Originally self-managed by the ACT HD community, this group is now under the auspices of the Association. We are most grateful to Karen who did organise the bi-monthly lunches.
This is a peer social group for anyone connected to a person living with HD in the ACT area.
The group meets bi-monthly, on the 1st Saturday of that month.

Fundraising and awareness
This region have been running since 2010. They are a great support and social network that meet up in different forms.
People from this region are regular faces at the local Walk 4 Hope and their social connections assist with radio promotions and editing the Walk 4 Hope promotional video.
Their affiliated social golf club turns on a fun annual Huntington’s day.
They also run memorable Wine and Shopping tours.

This group is run by the social worker from John Hunter Hospital.
The group meets monthly to provide support and education for carers.
